Day 1-2 - Murchison Falls NP

The "big four" African animals can be found in Murchison Falls National Park (lion, leopard, elephant, and Cape buffalo). You will make a stop at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary to see the last of the white rhinos in order to ensure that you see all five of Africa's "Big Five" animals.
Day by Day
Day 1 Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park
You will leave towards the north at 6:00 a.m after breakfast, traveling via the Luweero and Masindi areas and past rural towns and farms. Before moving on to Masindi town for lunch, you will stop at the Ziwa Ranch Rhino Sanctuary for some rhino tracking. After reaching Murchison Falls National Park, you will immediately go to the impressive falls, where you will take a tour of both their top and bottom. Here, the Nile River plunges forty- five meters before crashing through a valley that is seven meters deep. Awe-inspiring scenery is produced by the foaming water, which also makes a loud roar. You will have dinner and spend the night at the Pakuba Safari Lodge.

Day 2. Morning Game Drive and Afternoon launch cruise.
You'll get up extremely early and leave for a dawn game drive at 6:30 am. spotting numerous animals and some of the more frequent birds that may be spotted throughout the picturesque trails of Murchison Falls National Park.
You will take a boat excursion upstream to the base of the falls in the late afternoon after lunch along the Nile. Along the way, you'll encounter water bucks, hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of birds, including the unique shoebill stork. In order to capture images of the magnificent Murchison Falls, the boat stops a few meters from the "Devil's Cauldron." You will have dinner and spend the night at the resort.

Day 3: Transfer back to Kampala.
We'll drive to the top of the rumbling Murchison Falls after breakfast so you can take in the breathtaking vista one last time before heading to Kampala. Immediately following lunch, you will go to Entebbe to catch your flight home. We sincerely hope you had a fantastic day visiting the magnificent Murchison Falls!
